This is a beautiful and modern hotel. After a long day hiking Inca trail it was great to have such retreat in the town like Auguas Calientes.
Our room had a view of mountains! It was clean (though small) with a king size bed, portable heater and conditioner, truly hot water with good water pressure. I liked how they give free robs to use.The bed, it's comforters and pillows were amazing.
Even more awesome is how good the food tasted. The bar was fantastic. Both the breakfast and dinner were included. Dinner was so tasty and a three course meal too.The breakfast buffet was good. You can order scrambled eggs. Otherwise they had grains, fruits, cereal, hot dog and tea.
The service was excellent. Every time we called the hotel staffs they would be at our door in one minute. We had difficulties with our tour guide not showing up at the hotel lobby for our pre MP trip. The front desk staff was very patient and helpful. She contacted to our agency and helped us to talk to them.
The location was great ! It was in the main portion of the town, close to restaurants and shopping.The town was very small, restricted by the river. El MaPi was close to train and Machu Picchu bus, very convenient ! During our trip it was the only hotel which had a computer with US keyboard! It had free Wifi and a flat screen TV too.
