"The best trip , so far with SAS"

We just returned from our trip to Machu Picchu via Inca trail and I will strongly recommend for SAS.They are great! I mean the company is hundred percent professional. Their tour guides are knowledgeable and porters are extremely efficient.I was surprised when they offered us food which was garnished so nicely. I mean they were always busy setting up our tents while hiking but at the same time they served us food which can be compared with any fine restaurant.

About selecting your hike I would suggest to go for a two( If you are fit) day inca trail hike to visit Machu Picchu. The hike is great. SAS has both the options. The first view of the ruins was something which I will remember forever! Our guides were very impressive with their historical knowledge and verbal description. They made us to feel special(thrilled!) when we were arriving at the Machu Picchu via the Sun Gate even though we had walked a whole day was well worth the money. There are dozens of companies which can provide the tour. But you need to pick the right one!

SAS was an incredible group.

For my 30th birthday, I decided to do something memorable. After finishing the hike to Machu Picchu, I can add many adjectives to my 30th: inspiring, challenging, beautiful, uplifting.. and I could go on.

This was seriously a life changing experience. Maybe it was the altitude, maybe it was my enormous backpack, or just the views.. however corny this sounds, I did come back a different person.

SAS was an incredible group. Or tour guide, Ruben, was hilarious. Our porters were so kind and dedicated that I wrote a speech for them on my napkin in my tent and read it to them. I had Ruben translate it for them. I had better service on the trip than I did in 5 star hotels. I miss the group already, and I every morning thus far, I wake up hoping to be out on the trail and awakening to an incredible view - and my warm tea :)
