 The climate of Trujillo is charming with sunny and warm weather. The land of endless spring is another name of Trujillo. In 1534, Trujillo was founded as one of the most important cities in the vice-regency. The aged quarter features various excellent colonial buildings. Trujillo is the center of the Peruvian El Paso horse and marinera dance proliferation. Also it was the center of the Chimú culture in 1100-1400 AD, whose Chan Chan citadel is the largest pre-Hispanic mud-brick construction in the Americas.

Visitors can see in an ancient style of architecture on the Trujillo city's outer edge, where the leftovers of the pre-Hispanic civilization still bring up above the desert sands and green fields. The El Brujo complex, the Chan Chan citadel and the temples of the Dragon, the Moon and the Sun with others are indication of highly sophisticated northern civilizations.

Huanchaco is a charming fishing cove where anyone can discover the ancient vehicle that appeared on the pottery of Mochica and on the friezes at Chan Chan- the rafts woven from totora and caballitos de totora reed in a fine art which has been handed along over the generations.

Near Trujillo beaches are the best enjoying place for visitors. Not only because of wonderful local seafood, fresh cool gentle sea wind but also intended for the opportunities to be enjoyed for excellent adventure sports as well as get in touch with tradition.

Similar expertise is exposed by the surfing crowd. Year after year crowd gathers in the seaport of the Malabrigo. This surfing competition is started in every March of the year. If you want to see the world's longest waves and surfing competition, you should visit the local beaches of the Trujillo.

Also Trujillo is the land of the marinera. Here town citizen’s hold National Marinera competition in every March. In September, the houses and streets are festooned with the decorations to receive a procession of parties, floats, and competitions. This is the one of the most popular international festival in spring, which is celebrated for arrival of the spring in Peru.

Machu Picchu City ?

Is Machu Picchu a city, now? Not Really. It is a ruin of a ancient great city. There is only a hotel close to this ruin. Aguas Calientes is the closest city from this ruin, where you can stay and dine.
