Hostal Pachacutec : A cheap hotel at Aguas Calientes

We had to climb lot of stairs

Our room number was 202, but it was not in second floor. We had to climb several stair before reaching our room. Room was very basic, though spacious. Some open market and good restaurant around the hotel made us satisfied.

How do they lift those 15 tons stones? How they place those stones so neatly?

Location of this hotel is not very convenient. Actually Hostal Pachacutec is one of the last hotels towards the spring from Plaza You have to go towards north from Plaza de Armas. Remember you have to walk uphill here. This hotel is small, and cheap. You will find the basic amenities here. Rooms are comparatively spacious and clean. Staffs are really friendly here. Though they don't know much English.

If your room is at upstairs you may have to climb 4/5 flights of stairs. So be prepared for that. This hotel a bit quiet than other counterparts.

Around this hotel you will see find the open market and patios. Environment around this hotel is a bit enjoyable. When you are done with Machu Picchu, you may pass some good moments here.
