I was on the river side. The loud sound of the river was really very enchanting. I liked this part of this hotel.

This hotel is located along the railroad track. Hostal Machu Picchu and Hostal Continental are placed one after another. They are both owned by the same owner. It is a small hotel with 12 rooms. This hotel was renovated on 2001. All rooms are with private bathroom. It is a cheap hotel, so don't expect much. Though among the cheap ones this one is comparatively better.
Rooms of this hotel are not large, but still you may like it. Beds are ok. This hotel is better than other cheap hotel because you may find bathroom is working fine, which may not be the case in most cheap hotels in Aguas calientes.

Rooms fare include breakfast. They don't have any arrangement of breakfast here though. You have to go to the next door Hotel Machu Picchu (of the same owner) for breakfast.
Some of the rooms facing river Vilcanota is better than the rooms facing the road.
