Nazca is a small town in Peru. It is very famous for the figures drawn by Nazca culture in Nazca desert, which is between the towns of Nazca and Palpa. Here you can see the figures of hummingbirds, spiders, monkeys, fishes, sharks, llamas and lizards. They were created sometime between 200 BC and 700 AD. Some of the figures are 60 meters long. You may not visualize the figures from ground. So you have to fly. Flights over the lines leave regularly throughout the day on small planes which take between 3 and 5 passengers. Flights available for tourists, which last from 30-40 minutes and cost around $40.00 per person. There are local tour operators, you can easily arrange a tour with them.
