I think Sumaq is one of the best hotels in Aguas Calientes( though expensive- 466$). Wonderful location, spacious rooms, excellent service. The view of the mountains with the rushing river below, this was beyond our expectations!
Our room and the bath were lovely, sparklingly clean, modern and spacious.The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river with the view of the mountains, a real plus point !!
The gourmet restaurant was absolutely fabulous! Breakfast and either Lunch or Dinner were included in the price of the room. The food was superb! They also had a large breakfast available at 5a.m. for the guests who wanted to take the early buses to Machu Picchu.
Staffs were very friendly.They arranged a porter to take our luggage to train station.
I was so happy with the staff, I thought I owe them a good review, thank Peru Travel Guide for giving me the chance.
